I think it gives fantastic water and was pleased to find they have a recycling program for the filters as well. However, Zerowater will send a $5 coupon for each 2 filters that you send to them. The minimum I will pay in postage to return 2 filters is $10. I will not take the hit on that. Until they come up with something better I will recycle the plastic filters through my city recycle program.

I was shocked to see so many people dissatisfied with this product. I've had mine for six months now and I haven't had a single problem--in fact, I have gotten so used to zero water that I can now taste the TDS in bottled purified water.

We don't go through filters nearly as fast as the others are saying. In the six months we've had it, we've had to buy two 2-packs of filters, so that's less than one filter a month with heavy use. Our water has never smelled or tasted fishy and our filters have always produced 000 water when we install them. The only thing I can think of is maybe these people have not tightened their filters into the unit enough or the gaskets are bad.

I can't drink any other water now that I've experienced zero water. I can't taste the water that comes out of my zero water filter, and I can instantly tell when the filters need to be changed because there's a grittiness to the water that is present even in purified bottled water. I would recommend this system to anyone and everyone!

I like it. I have well water that has about 120 ppm total dissolved solids. I get lime/mineral scale on my fixtures but there is much else in the water that needs to be removed. I used the same PUR pitcher filter for about 8 months (water tastes fine, but it was pouring out at 100 ppm TDS). I don't care if there are a few more particles in my water than the 6 prescribed by zerowater. It's better than 120. And it saves me $$$$ like crazy, at $1 per gallon, this filter will pay for itself in within the next couple weeks. No smell, no leaking, no problems whatsoever (capacity seems to be around 2 gallons).

I've owned this ZeroWater for about 3 months now and haven't had to change a filter nor have I had any of the fishy water smell or taste that others have stated they had experienced. I fill my cooler bottle (fits on my cooler, cheapy from Home Depot, just fine) at least 4 times a day with my well water. At this time the water still registers 0 and the taste is fantastic! I purchased this because I recently found out that I had some allergies to the minerals in my well water and had to switch to pure water. This fit the bill perfectly. I always had spring water delivered to my home because the kids didn't like the taste of the well water, which I loved, so putting this on my old cooler wasn't a big deal at all. Everyone who drinks this water...and we drink ALOT of water loves the crisp, clean flavor of this water. I feel badly for the people who are having issues with the system, but for me, it's the best investment I've made in a very long time. Oh, and my allergies cleared right up!
